Love good beer, good food and bringing people together? We're looking for a Venue Manager to help make our Miramar Brewery Taproom an even better place to be.

We're an independent Wellington brewery with a busy taproom, a kitchen, plenty of events and a community of good people who make it all worthwhile. No two days are quite the same, and that's part of the fun.

We're after someone who can lead from the front, bring the team together and take real ownership of the venue. Someone who knows great hospitality is about more than pouring a good pint — it's about creating an experience that makes people want to come back.

What's the gig?

• Run the day-to-day operation of our Miramar taproom and keep things ticking along.
• Lead, support and develop a great team.
• Make sure the beer is flowing, the food is looking good and customers are having a bloody good time.
• Drive sales through great service, product knowledge and a little well-timed upselling.
• Keep on top of rosters, stock, ordering and the other not-so-glamorous bits that make hospitality work.
• Help bring our events, promotions and community ideas to life.
• Spot opportunities, solve problems and always look for ways to make things better.

Who are we looking for?

Someone with hospitality management experience who enjoys working with people, can keep a cool head when things get hectic and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.

You'll be organised, proactive and commercially minded, but just as importantly, you'll care about your team, your customers and the atmosphere you create.

Craft beer or brewery experience would be a bonus, but a great attitude, solid leadership and a genuine passion for hospitality go a long way.
