What they need
ABOUT THE ARLO
The Arlo is a modern wedding and event venue nestled in the Texas Hill Country just outside Austin. We're a locally owned venue with a small, dedicated team that takes pride in creating exceptional experiences for our clients, guests and vendor partners.
We're looking for a warm, polished and dependable hospitality professional to join our team in a role that combines event operations, guest experience, venue tours and administrative support.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and genuinely loves working with people.
ABOUT THE POSITION
No two weeks at The Arlo look exactly the same.
During our busy event seasons, you'll spend more time onsite supporting weddings and events, overseeing venue operations and serving as a welcoming, professional representative of The Arlo.
During slower periods, your focus will shift toward venue tours, prospective client follow-up, vendor compliance and other operational responsibilities.
We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable engaging with guests during a busy event, welcoming prospective clients on a tour and independently managing important behind-the-scenes details.

Event Operations & Guest Experience
- Serve as The Arlo's onsite representative during weddings and private events.
- Oversee venue opening, closing, vendor access and general facility operations.
- Support clients, guests and vendors with venue-related needs throughout events.
- Help maintain venue standards, policies and a welcoming environment.
- Communicate with event planners, vendors and team members to support smooth event operations.
Venue Tours & Client Experience
- Lead private venue tours for prospective clients.
- Create a warm, informative and memorable first impression.
- Assist with scheduling tours and other venue appointments, including select evenings and weekends.
Vendor Compliance & Administrative Support
- Coordinate vendor documentation, agreements and certificates of insurance.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and follow up on outstanding requirements.
- Assist with prospective client inquiries, lead follow-up and tour scheduling.
- Support additional venue operations and administrative projects as needed.
There may also be opportunities to assist with social media and content creation based on experience and interest.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone who brings genuine warmth, professionalism and a natural sense of hospitality to everything they do.
Our ideal candidate is:

- Proactive, observant and able to work independently.
- Professional in appearance, communication and judgment.
- Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.
- Adaptable and willing to support the team wherever needed.
- Available to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Experience in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, private clubs, guest services or event venues is preferred.
Wedding industry experience is not required. We're more interested in finding the right person with strong hospitality instincts, a positive attitude and the ability to take ownership of their work.
