Venue Supervisor

About the role

Radio Taco is looking for an experienced Venue Supervisor to take ownership of the day-to-day running of our busy fast-casual restaurant in Chippendale.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the front-of-house team during daily operations
• Ensure smooth, efficient service and a consistently great customer experience
• Manage staff performance, training and day-to-day team standards
• Prepare and manage staff rosters in coordination with senior management
• Oversee opening and closing procedures
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and food safety
• Monitor stock levels, ordering and general venue requirements
• Assist senior management with labour costs, sales performance and other key venue metrics
• Identify operational issues and work with senior management on improvements
• Help build a positive, energetic and accountable team culture

About you

• A hands-on leader who is comfortable working alongside the team during busy services
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• Ability to take ownership of the venue and solve day-to-day problems independently
• Good understanding of labour management, rostering and operational costs
• High standards for customer service, cleanliness and team performance
• Reliable, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
• Experience leading a team in a busy restaurant, QSR or fast-casual environment
• Strong customer service and people-management skills
• Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends
