Our Stereax product line is helping to shape the future of miniature batteries, and we are seeking a talented Verification & Validation Technology Transfer Engineer to join our Product Assurance team.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the verification, validation and technology transfer of our innovative solid-state battery products.

Working closely with Product Assurance, R&D and external manufacturing partners, you will develop and apply data-driven tools and analysis to support product performance, reliability and successful technology transfer. You will help transform complex technical and manufacturing data into actionable insights that inform critical decisions throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data analysis tools and reporting systems to support product and manufacturing activities.
• Analyse product and manufacturing datasets to identify trends, support investigations and drive root cause analysis.
• Support new product introduction activities from research and development through to product launch.
• Contribute to verification and validation testing, characterisation and reporting of battery performance.
• Assist with technology transfer activities, including the transfer of processes, methods and best practices to manufacturing partners and outsourced providers.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support intellectual property protection activities.
• Ensure work is conducted in accordance with applicable quality, safety and laboratory procedures.

About You

You will be a data-driven engineer or scientist who enjoys solving technical challenges and working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

You should have:

• A degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Materials Science or a related discipline, or equivalent industrial experience.
• Experience using scientific or engineering data analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB or similar.
• The ability to develop software tools and analytical functions independently.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
• Experience working within controlled or regulated environments and following documented procedures.

The following would be advantageous:

• Knowledge of electrochemistry or battery technologies.
• Experience of technology transfer, manufacturing support or process scale-up activities.
• Experience writing operational procedures or documentation within an ISO-controlled environment.
