Verification Executive

About the role

Join the growing team at ZIKAY FACTORING SDN. BHD. as a Verification Executive. In this full-time role based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be responsible for verifying the accuracy and completeness of financial information provided by clients as part of the factoring and invoice financing process. This is a crucial position that supports the company's strategic objectives and ensures the integrity of its operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Carefully review and validate clients details, contracts, invoices, and other records submitted by clients.
2. Conduct due diligence checks independently from the Sales & Operations Team.
3. Liaise with clients to obtain any additional information or clarification needed to complete the verification process.
4. Validate authenticity of projects, contracts and Paymasters' background check.
5. Identify and escalate any discrepancies or irregularities in the provided information.
6. Maintain detailed records and documentation of the verification process.
7. Assist with the preparation of reports summarising the findings of the verification process.
8. Support the wider team in processing invoice factoring facilities.
9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of verification procedures and internal controls.

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in a similar verification or auditing role, preferably within the financial services industry.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with clients.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and comfortable working with financial data.
5. A relevant university degree or professional qualification in accounting, banking, islamic finance or a related field.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
7. Knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations and compliance requirements.
