- Dental Coding Knowledge: Understanding CDT codes (Current Dental Terminology) used to categorize dental treatments and procedures.
- Payer Portal & Clearinghouse Navigation: Using web portals and electronic data interchange (EDI) platforms to check claims, benefits, and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents.
- Practice Management Software: Familiarity with tools like Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or Denticon
