Vertical/Horizontal CNC Machining Technician (Aerospace)

Do these statements sound like you?

• I have 1–3 years operating vertical and horizontal CNC mills.
• I can read blueprints, understand tolerances, and verify parts using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• I’m comfortable with drilling, turning, and tapping operations and can deburr to a clean finish.
• I communicate clearly with supervisors, peers, and quality to solve machining or quality issues.
• I keep a tidy, safe workspace and follow QMS procedures and documentation.
• I’m willing to work 2nd shift (5-day workweek, 8-hour shifts, 2:15–10:45 PM) and take on overtime when needed.
• I have a high school diploma or GED, strong basic math, and fluency in written and spoken English.
• Bonus: I’ve run a Bridgeport.

What you’ll work on

• Set up, load, and run CNC milling jobs (production and non-production).
• Inspect features per the Process Routing Document (PRD) and record measurements legibly.
• Perform manual deburring operations as needed.
• Complete required reports and associated paperwork accurately.
• Conduct daily maintenance and leave the area clean at end of shift.
• Safeguard company, customer, and supplier property (electronic, intellectual, and physical).
• Own and manage assigned records.
