The Role

The job holder’s major responsibilities are to:
Work closely with other operational functions in controlling both shipside and landside operations and performance of tractors and equipment

Execute and optimize barge scheduling plan from barge centre

Assist Duty Superintendent/Duty Manager in assigning jobs to the team and allocating optimum resources within yard

Arrange empty container collection and delivery

Arrange container movement for CFS and container repairing services

Arrange to facilitate container attributes validation, container inspection, reefer box inspection and cargo repacking

The Person

The ideal candidate should have/be:
Form 5 or above with 3 years relevant experience

Conversant with PC application

Knowledge in operational flow of container terminal

Good written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)

Good problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills

Good team player, initiative and customer oriented
