What they need
We are hiring Vessel Document Officer with qualifications below :
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Commercial Shipping Management (KPN), or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping administration, operational legal matters, or document control.
- Understanding of bureaucratic procedures within maritime agencies (the Harbormaster and Port Authority/ KSOP, the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, and classification societies).
- Understanding the types and validity periods of mandatory ship certificates such as Safety Construction, Safety Equipment, Safety Radio, Load Line, IOPP, SMC, ISPS, and Document of Compliance (DOC).
- Proficient in managing the Port Clearance (SPB) process, agency doc, entry permits.
- Experienced in managing document tracking systems (both digital and physical).
