Vessel Operations

Operation：

1.Operation of chartered vessels including communicating with the ship masters, sending voyage instructions and monitoring vessel’s movements.

2. Compile, verify and settle charter and vessel management cost .

3. Communicate and coordinate with clients, suppliers, ports, freight forwarders and other parties to resolve operational issues and disputes; maintain sound business partnerships; formulate vessel sailing plans and routing arrangements; optimize vessel operational efficiency and reduce operating costs.

Commercial:

1. Follow up full voyage commercial performance and issue commercial invoices to Operations Department, vessels and port agents.

2. Monitor laytime, review Laytime Statements, calculate demurrage and despatch accurately, and issue relevant invoices to charterers.

3. Monitor vessel bunker consumption and Speed & Performance; handle disputes raised by charterers regarding insufficient speed and excessive bunker consumption as well as off-hire assessment.

4.Liaise with the P&l Club to handle claims related to ships and cargoes.

5. Audit port disbursements, agency fees, tug charges and other port expenses, and monitor cost of voyages.
