Job Summary

SRO Housing Corporation is seeking dedicated and compassionate Veterans Services Case Managers to empower our veteran community by providing comprehensive support, guidance, and advocacy. Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of veterans and develop personalized case management plans to address their unique circumstances
• Connect clients with appropriate resources such as Section 8 housing, workforce development programs, addiction counseling, behavioral health services, and social services
• Provide ongoing support through regular client communication, crisis intervention, and follow-up to ensure progress toward goals
• Maintain accurate data entry and documentation within case management systems while adhering to confidentiality standards and liability insurance requirements
• Collaborate with community partners to coordinate services that support veterans’ employment, housing stability, mental health, and disability accommodations
• Conduct culturally sensitive outreach to underserved populations and individuals with disabilities or high-risk needs
• Advocate for clients’ rights and educate them about available benefits like social security, VA programs, and other entitlement options

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Low-income Affordable Housing policies
• Experience working with individuals from underserved communities and culturally diverse backgrounds
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and client communication
• Skilled in addiction counseling techniques, behavioral health interventions, and crisis management strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client advocacy and report writing
• Ability to handle high-risk populations with sensitivity, professionalism, and resilience
• Familiarity with social work principles, case management practices, and working with individuals with disabilities
• Demonstrated ability to manage data entry accurately while maintaining confidentiality standards
• Knowledge of liability insurance protocols related to social services delivery

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
