Job Summary

We are looking for a Poultry Farm Veterinarian to support the health, welfare, and overall performance of poultry flocks across farm operations. Depending on the assigned role, the position may undergo structured training on technical and farm management responsibilities. The role focuses on flock health monitoring, disease prevention, vaccination, biosecurity, farm performance, and the implementation of effective poultry health management programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Licensed Veterinarian

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

• Experience in poultry production, veterinary practice, or farm operations is an advantage

• Knowledgeable in poultry health, vaccination programs, disease prevention, biosecurity, animal welfare, and flock management

• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and decision making skills, with willingness to work in a field-based farm environment

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor flock health, mortality, growth, production performance, and overall bird welfare, and recommend appropriate interventions

• Develop and implement vaccination, disease prevention, medication, and biosecurity programs in coordination with Farm Operations

• Conduct regular farm visits, health assessments, diagnostic investigations, and evaluation of flock performance

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Farm Managers, Supervisors, and farm personnel on poultry health and management practices

• Prepare and review farm health and performance reports, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actions to optimize flock performance and farm productivity
