Veterinarian | Goodbye Good Boy

Help change the way Australia says goodbye.

At Goodbye Good Boy, we believe every pet deserves a peaceful, dignified farewell in the comfort of home.

We're looking for an exceptional veterinarian to join our growing team—someone who combines clinical confidence with genuine compassion and wants to make a meaningful difference every single day.

This isn't just another veterinary role.

It's an opportunity to support families through one of the most important moments of their lives, while working alongside a passionate, supportive team committed to redefining end-of-life care.

About the role:

As an End-of-Life Veterinarian, you'll provide in-home euthanasia services across your region, helping families create calm, personalised and compassionate farewells for their beloved pets.

You'll also become an ambassador for Goodbye Good Boy, building relationships with local veterinary clinics, educating teams about our service and helping more families access the support they need.
You'll enjoy genuine autonomy, flexible scheduling and the opportunity to be part of one of Australia's fastest-growing veterinary services.

About you:

We're looking for someone who is:

• A qualified veterinarian
• Warm, kind and naturally empathetic.
• An exceptional communicator who can connect with people during emotional moments.
• Confident working independently and making sound clinical decisions.
• Organised, reliable and self-motivated.
• Physically capable of handling pets and equipment throughout the day.
• Passionate about delivering outstanding client experiences.
• Comfortable driving between appointments.
• Excited by building relationships with veterinary clinics and representing our service within the profession.

You'll thrive here if you...

• Love people just as much as you love animals.
• Find purpose in supporting families through difficult moments.
• Enjoy working autonomously while still feeling part of a close-knit team.
• Like educating others and sharing ideas.
• Want your work to have genuine meaning every day.

What we offer

• Competitive salary
• Company vehicle
• Comprehensive induction and mentoring.
• Ongoing professional development and access to our End-of-Life Veterinary training program.
• Genuine work-life balance and flexible rostering.
• A supportive leadership team who values your wellbeing.
• Opportunities to grow as our national team continues to expand.
• The privilege of providing one of the most meaningful services in veterinary medicine everyday.

Why Goodbye Good Boy?
Every day, we witness the difference a peaceful farewell at home can make.
We're not simply helping pets at the end of life—we're helping families create one final memory filled with love, dignity and compassion.
If you're looking for a veterinary career with purpose, we'd love to hear from you.
