Veterinarian

Sheridan Animal Hospital is a family-owned and operated veterinary hospital that believes in treating our team like family and providing the same personalized care to our patients and clients. We are looking for a compassionate, dependable veterinary professional to join our team.

Why Sheridan Animal Hospital?

We offer something unique: the flexibility you would typically find with a relief position, while still having the stability and benefits of a regular job.

Instead of committing to a rigid schedule, we work with you to create a schedule based on your availability. Similar to a relief veterinarian who chooses which shifts they want to pick up, you have flexibility in determining when you work—without having to give up the security of a steady position.

What We Offer

• Flexible scheduling based on your availability
• The ability to choose and adjust your shifts when possible
• The freedom and flexibility of picking up shifts that work for you
• Consistent employment and dependable scheduling opportunities
• Benefits available to eligible employees
• A supportive, family-oriented work environment
• A locally owned and operated hospital where your contributions are recognized
• A team that values communication, respect, and work-life balance

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• Compassionate and dedicated to quality patient care
• Reliable and responsible
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Professional and friendly with clients
• Able to work independently when needed
• Adaptable and flexible with scheduling

A Different Kind of Veterinary Job

At Sheridan Animal Hospital, we understand that veterinary professionals have lives outside of work. You shouldn't have to choose between flexibility and job stability.

If you like the idea of being a relief veterinarian—choosing the shifts that fit your schedule and having the freedom to work when you want—but also want the stability, consistency, and benefits that come with being part of a regular team, this may be the perfect fit for you.

At Sheridan Animal Hospital, you can have the flexibility of relief work with the security of a steady position.
