Veterinarian – 2–3 Days/Week

Bonnie Mara Animal Hospital is a brand-new, newly built, proudly independent small animal hospital seeking a veterinarian to join our team 2–3 days per week.

Our hospital was thoughtfully designed from the ground up to support excellent medicine, efficient workflows, and an outstanding experience for patients, clients, and team members. We offer a modern, fully equipped facility with the tools, technology, and resources needed to practice high-quality medicine in a comfortable, collaborative environment.

We are building a supportive workplace where patient care, client service, and team well-being all matter. We are growing intentionally and seeking a veterinarian who wants to practice excellent medicine with the time, equipment, and support to do it well.

As the practice grows, this position may transition to full-time in the coming months, with eligibility for our full-time benefits package.

Schedule

• 2–3 shifts per week
• 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• 90-minute lunch
• 30 minutes of team rounds
• One protected hour at the end of each day for records, callbacks, and case wrap-up

Doctor Support

Our doctors are supported by a strong, experienced team, including three RVTs. Our typical doctor-to-support-staff ratio is 1:3 to 1:4.

We want our doctors to focus on practicing medicine—not doing everything themselves. We prioritize appropriate staffing, collaboration, and the time and support needed to provide excellent patient and client care.

Our brand-new hospital is equipped with modern tools and technology to help doctors work efficiently and provide exceptional care. We have invested in the facility, equipment, and systems needed to create a high-functioning practice from day one.

Compensation

• Guaranteed base compensation equivalent to $130,000 annually for a three-day-per-week schedule
• 21% production, with monthly production bonuses above base
• Compensation adjusted proportionally based on the number of shifts worked per week
• PTO included in production calculations so taking earned vacation does not negatively affect production compensation

Paid Time Off

For a three-day-per-week schedule:

• Three weeks of PTO (nine shifts annually), accrued throughout the year
• 40 hours of paid sick leave
• Three paid CE days

Opportunity to Grow to Full Time

As Bonnie Mara continues to grow, this position may transition to full-time. Full-time benefits include:
