Union Avenue Veterinary Hospital is seeking an outstanding, experienced, full time Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

JOB SUMMARY
Our veterinary assistants are responsible for a variety of tasks related to client care and patient care within the practice. Duties include animal handling, performing laboratory diagnostics, radiology, pre and post-operative nursing care, presenting treatment plans, discussing financial options and estimates, accurately entering service charges into client processing database, extensive client interaction and education, preparing and demonstrating the application of medications. Hours are typically 4 days per week from 7:30am - 5:30pm, and closed weekends and major holidays.
