The following skills are recommended for the Veterinary Assistant position:

• Positive attitude and thrives in a team setting
• Effective communicator with clients and colleagues
• Gentle and patient focused handling and restraint
• Focused toward general practice, and wellness. comfortable with end of life appointments and able to conduct unassisted client education in exam rooms

* This is a Full time 40 hour work week with with one weekend day included*

*Looking to hire for both day and overnight shifts!

Our team includes:

• Anesthesia
• Ophthalmology
• Cardiology
• Neurology
• Internal Medicine
• Radiology (radiograph/CT evaluation and outpatient ultrasound)
• Surgery (soft tissue and orthopedic)
• 24 Emergency Service
• With onsite CT and ultrasound, we strive for the best diagnostic options and care for our patients. As a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital, we have scheduling options to suit your needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
