Veterinary Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures
• Restrain and handle patients safely and compassionately
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Collect samples and perform basic diagnostic procedures
• Communicate with pet owners in a professional and caring manner
• Administer medications and treatments as directed

Requirements:

• 3+ years of veterinary assistant experience required
• Experience working with dogs and cats in a clinical setting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine love for animals and their owners

Compensation:

$21–$25 per hour, based on experience
