Seacliff Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

We are an established veterinary hospital with a great clientele, caring for dogs, cats, and some exotic pets. We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dependable person who enjoys working with animals and wants to be part of a supportive veterinary team.

What We're Looking For

At least 1 year of veterinary hospital experience is required.

Candidates should be comfortable with basic animal handling and restraint. We trend toward Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques and are looking for someone who shares our commitment to compassionate patient care.

Experience with any of the following is a plus, but not required:

• Venipuncture and blood draws
• IV catheter placement
• IV injections
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Radiology and patient positioning
• Taking thorough patient histories
• Preparing and filling medications
• Assisting with treatments and procedures

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is reliable, compassionate, willing to learn, and works well as part of a team.
