What You'll Do:

• Assist in patient care and veterinary exams
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Monitor animal health and behavior, and report findings
• Restrain animals safely for procedures and treatments
• Maintain clean, sanitized exam rooms and equipment
• Provide support during emergencies
• Answer phones, greet clients, and help with reception tasks
• Keep accurate patient records and logs
• Educate clients on basic care and post-treatment needs

What We're Looking For:

• Prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant (preferred but not required)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A calm, patient, and caring demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Comfortable handling cats, dogs, and exotic pets (birds, reptiles, etc.)
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for long periods
• Willingness to work rotating Saturdays and occasional emergencies
• High school diploma or equivalent; Veterinary Assistant certification a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
