Whisker Wellness Center seeks an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team of passionate feline health providers. This position is ideally suited for an empathetic, approachable assistant with technical proficiency and client service skills who values building lasting relationships with cats and their families.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering outstanding patient and client care while maintaining appointment efficiency
• Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate, detailed medical records
• Supporting the veterinarian and/or technician during appointments and procedures to ensure exceptional patient care in a low-stress environment
• Reviewing treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized hospital environment

We seek applicants who have:

• Minimum 2 years of prior veterinary hospital experience
• Active Veterinary Medication Clerk License
• Excellent written/verbal client communication skills
• Proficiency in feline body language and gentle cat-friendly restraint
• Self-motivated, personable, and dedicated to providing outstanding service to patients and their families
• Ability to prioritize and switch tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with EzyVet software would be a bonus

Full-time compensation and benefits include:

• Compensation: $19 to $22 per hour, DOE
