What they need
We’re looking for a dependable, compassionate, and hardworking Veterinary Assistant to join our team! If you enjoy working with animals, work well with others, and can keep up in a busy clinic, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely handling and restraining animals during exams and treatments.
- Assisting veterinarians and licensed veterinary technicians.
- Preparing exam rooms, supplies, and equipment.
- Feeding, walking, and caring for patients.
- Cleaning and disinfecting kennels, work areas, and equipment.
- Communicating professionally with clients and coworkers.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Pays attention to detail and follows instructions.
- Takes initiative and helps wherever needed.
- Is comfortable with cleaning, animal handling, and being on their feet throughout the day.
- Treats animals, clients, and coworkers with kindness and respect.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
