Moreno Valley Community Vet Care is seeking a compassionate, motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team! If you enjoy helping animals, supporting clients, and learning in a busy veterinary hospital, we would love to meet you.

Our practice provides general veterinary care, urgent care, and a wide variety of surgical services. We also care for patients from the neighboring city animal shelter, giving our team meaningful opportunities to serve pets and our community.

About the Position

You will work alongside our doctors and technicians to provide high-quality patient care and help keep the hospital running smoothly. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Safely handling and restraining dogs and cats.
• Preparing examination rooms and treatment areas.
• Communicating with clients and supporting a positive experience.
• Maintaining a clean, organized hospital.
• Working collaboratively with the team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• One year of veterinary experience preferred.
• Pre-veterinary students are encouraged to apply.
• A strong commitment to animal care and compassionate client service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A willingness to learn, take initiative, and support teammates.
• Ability to stay organized and adapt to changing priorities.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Schedule

• Full-time, five 8-hour shifts.
• Tuesday through Saturday.
