We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate is passionate about animal care, enjoys working with pet owners, and thrives in a team-oriented veterinary environment.

Job Responsibilities

● Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with examinations, treatments, and routine procedures.

● Safely and compassionately handle and restrain dogs and cats.

● Prepare examination rooms and maintain clean, organized treatment areas.

● Assist with collecting samples and performing basic in-house laboratory tasks as directed.

● Monitor patients and provide compassionate care during their visits.

● Help with animal restraint and routine care as needed.

● Maintain accurate patient records and update medical information.

● Communicate professionally with clients regarding appointments and patient care.

● Clean and disinfect kennels, equipment, and work areas.

● Assist with daily clinic operations and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

● Previous veterinary or animal care experience preferred.

● Genuine love and compassion for animals.

● Strong communication and customer service skills.

● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

● Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.

● Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.

● Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift or handle animals as required.

Pay: From $15.15 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 50.0 per week
