Veterinary Assistant - Make a Real Impact

What You’ll Do

• Skilled, low-stress handling and restraint of dogs and cats
• Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and sample collection
• Patient prep and anesthesia monitoring/recovery under supervision
• Surgical prep, sterile assisting, and treatment-area care
• Digital radiography — positioning and technique
• In-house lab: hematology, chemistry, cytology prep, fecal, UA
• Carry out treatments per doctor orders
• Educate owners and deliver clear, compassionate discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate records in Cornerstone and support inventory

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 3+ years hands-on clinical experience in a small-animal or ER practice
• Confident, independent venipuncture and IV catheter skills
• RVT credential a plus, but not required — seasoned experience counts here
• A real drive to create exceptional client experiences and connect with pet owners
• Calm under pressure, dependable, and a true team player
• Fear Free / low-stress handling experience a plus
• Spanish a plus given our client base

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
