Veterinary Assistant Receptionist

Our ideal candidate would be detail oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while staying positive and focused on the task at hand. They would have excellent communication skills, work well in a team environment and be able to deliver outstanding customer service to our clients. Comprehensive computer proficiency is essential as most of your tasks will be aided by different computer programs.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Greeting our clients and their pets when they arrive
• Handling our phones & scheduling appointments
• Ensuring our appointment book is filled
• Client education on pet health care and the services we provide
• Medical record keeping and invoicing for services performed
• Coordinating benefits with insurance companies
• Scheduling future appointments
• Appointment confirmations

Preference will be given to candidates with a Veterinary Assistant diploma and a minimum of 2 years experience working in a veterinary hospital.
