Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-ins and check-outs with professionalism and efficiency
• Handle medical collections accurately, ensuring all billing and payment processes are completed smoothly
• Assist veterinarians with animal restraint during examinations and procedures, utilizing animal husbandry techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff
• Support clinical procedures such as animal catheterization, laboratory sample collection, and aseptic techniques to maintain sterile environments
• Provide pet care support including grooming, basic training, and pet grooming services to enhance animal well-being
• Maintain detailed records of veterinary treatments, laboratory results, and patient histories using veterinary terminology for clear documentation
• Manage kennel duties including cleaning, feeding, monitoring animal behavior, and providing basic animal husbandry to promote comfort and health
• Assist with laboratory work involving sample processing or diagnostic testing to aid in veterinary critical care cases
• Ensure all equipment is sanitized according to aseptic standards and assist in maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
