Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist - Part Time

Are you passionate about animals and providing exceptional care? Olympic Village Veterinary Clinic is a friendly, community-focused clinic in Vancouver’s Olympic Village. We are dedicated to compassionate care, preventative medicine, client education, and building lasting relationships with pets and their people.

We’re looking for a reliable, caring Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our team!

About the Role

You’ll support our veterinarians and technicians with daily patient care and clinic operations while helping create a welcoming, low-stress environment. This role also includes crossover with reception, providing coverage as needed for duties such as greeting clients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and responding to client inquiries.

We value Fear Free practices, feline-friendly handling, teamwork, open communication, and a positive attitude. Flexibility and a willingness to support different areas of the clinic are essential.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or similar animal care setting is required.
• Passion for animal welfare and compassionate patient care.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Reliability, organization, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and go above and beyond for clients and their pets.

Compensation: Based on experience.

Schedule: Part-time, 2–3 shifts per week (8 or 10 hour shifts). All team members work 1–2 Saturdays per month.
