Veterinary Assistant/Technician

We are looking for special people who share our compassion and commitment to helping people help their pets. We are a AAHA accredited practice. We are as much a clinic family as we are a practice team. Responsibilities include assisting veterinarians in examination rooms with patients, assisting in patient treatment, performing lab tests, completing prescription processing, and communicating with clients. Veterinary assistants have primary responsibility for patient handling during examination and treatment. Compassion and caring are essential attributes. Other essential skills are a comfort with animal handling, verbal communication, people skills, good teamwork and computer competency. Prior experience is an asset but not required.
