The VTH admits more than 15,500 clinical cases per year, and hospitalizes 5-8 ICU cases per day. Our Critical Care Unit is a state-of-the-art facility and is staffed with capable, competent technicians. Our hospital is equipped with digital radiography, MRI, CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, 24-hour access to full clinical pathology lab, oxygen cages, pulse oximetry, capnography, I-Stat point-of-care testing, telemetry, blood pressure and central venous pressure monitoring, Pleur-Evac® suction units, and ventilator therapy. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to interact with small animal specialists, as well as a supportive group of interns and residents.
