Veterinary Care Assistant Wanted – New Independent Practice in North Ascot
North Ascot Vets opened in March 2026, owned and run by Christopher Probert MRCVS. The success of our new independent practice is built on trust; earned through honesty and continuity of care, tailored to the individual pet and family, with decisions which are made thoughtfully and never rushed. We're looking for a passionate Veterinary Care Assistant to help us continue to build a practice that prioritises high quality client and patient care, and a supportive team culture.
What We Offer:
- Salary based on full time hours starting at £26,500 (dependent on experience)
- 6.6 weeks annual leave (including bank holidays)
- Healthcare benefits and annual Wellness Allowance
- Part-time role - 20 hours across a 5 day week
- No out-of-hours work; 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
- Unlimited development opportunities and support for further qualifications
About You:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Care Assistant to support our vet and nurses in delivering high quality patient care. You'll help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation throughout the clinical environment. Experience is welcomed but not essential to start your journey with us as a VCA. Our expert team will provide full training and support, including sponsorship of a future qualification if desired.
About Us:
We are committed to providing friendly, compassionate, and high quality care for local pets and their families. Our team will be pivotal in all that we do and achieve, so naturally they'll mean the world to us. Our well-equipped practice features a light, bright and spacious waiting area, modern finishes throughout, and separate cat and dog wards. We have all the bells and whistles you'd expect in a new clinic, including direct digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory plus more.
The hours: Flexibility is required as these could be subject to change +/- added holiday and sickness cover.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday - 2:15pm-6:15pm. Tuesday - 8:45-12:45pm and Thursday - 8:45-12:45pm
How to Apply:
If you're excited about building something special with us, we'd love to hear from you. Please include a brief introductory letter with your CV and a little about yourself.
We're excited to hear from you!
