Veterinary Client Service Representative / Veterinary Assistant

We're a small animal general practice tucked away in Mill Valley, California, and we're looking for veterinary support staff to join our awesome crew.

Duties

• Greeting clients (human and furry) with warmth and professionalism
• Scheduling appointments and managing daily workflow
• Answering phones and responding to emails with a smile (even when they can’t see it!)
• Checking clients in and out, processing payments, and keeping things organized
• Processing external prescription requests
• Processing insurance pre-authorizations and claims
• Helping create a welcoming, calm, and friendly front office environment
• Assisting with rooming appointments, obtaining medical history, and assisting with medical treatments as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Great communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude
• Ability to stay cool and collected when it gets busy
• At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary front desk or assistant role
• A team player who enjoys helping others and jumping in wherever needed
• Cross-trained in veterinary assisting

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
