Here at Ferndown Family Vets from the moment a client calls or when you greet them in the car park as they arrive (come rain or shine!), our goal is to create a supportive, compassionate and welcoming fear free veterinary experience from home to clinic to home again.

The Role

As a Customer Care Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of the practice and part of a close team.

This role is perfect if you are a dynamic organised person with a great smile who enjoys variety, multitasking and connecting with people throughout the day.

You’ll be:

• Welcoming clients at their cars as they park up, inviting them in and greeting their pets with treats and weighing them
• Supporting owners through appointments, questions, and sometimes emotional moments
• Managing phone calls, bookings, front-of-house flow and juggling priorities
• Processing payments, invoices and insurances on computer systems
• Being a calm, reassuring presence in what can be a busy environment

• Private healthcare, 5 weeks annual leave (plus bank holidays), one week sick pay
• Minimum 20 hours a week with additional Saturday mornings on a rota basis
• Weekday shifts between 8:15am-7pm and Saturdays 8:15am-1pm.
• Salary from £13.50 per hour, dependent on experience
