Veterinary Customer Service Representative

Ark Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is professional, compassionate, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment where every interaction matters.

Our Client Service Representatives are often the first and last point of contact with our hospital, making this position an essential part of our team.

Veterinary Experience Required

Applicants must have previous experience working in a veterinary hospital or veterinary client service setting. This position requires familiarity with veterinary terminology, appointment scheduling, client communication, and the unique responsibilities and emotions involved in veterinary medicine.

Experience with Cornerstone veterinary software is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities Include

• Welcoming clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
• Answering a high volume of phone calls
• Scheduling appointments appropriately based on each patient’s needs
• Assisting clients with questions, requests, and follow-up communication
• Maintaining complete and accurate medical records
• Communicating effectively with doctors, nurses, and fellow team members
• Providing compassionate support during both routine and emotional situations
• Processing payments and reviewing invoices with clients
• Helping daily hospital operations run smoothly and efficiently
• Maintaining client and patient confidentiality

Schedule

We are currently looking to fill a combination of the following shifts:

• 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
• 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Rotating Fridays and Saturdays:
• Friday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• The following Friday off, with a Saturday shift from 7:30 AM–12:00 PM

Applicants must be available for these shifts, including the alternating Saturday schedule.

Reliable transportation is required, as consistent and dependable attendance is essential for this position.
