About the Role:

Animal Care Centers PA in Flanders, NJ and Landing, NJ is seeking a customer service representative for a modern, progressive five doctor practice with 2 locations in Morris County. Animal Care Centers PA is a family owned practice, providing quality veterinary care for pets and their families in the Morris, Sussex and Warren county area. Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and their pets warmly, ensuring a positive front desk experience. We need a people person who will make true connections with our clients and their pets.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, managing a busy veterinary calendar, including doctor appointments, technician appointments, surgical schedule and small boarding kennel
• Answer multi-line phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to clinical staff, a real go to person!
• Process client payments, invoices, and maintain accurate billing records and are comfortable discussing estimate treatment options and knowledge of Care Credit
• Maintain and update patient medical records using veterinary practice management software (we use EzyVet)
• Providing general information regarding Animal Care Centers policies, services and pricing to our clients
• Support a clean, organized, and welcoming waiting area and front desk environment, exam rooms and beyond!
• Willing to jump in whenever needed!!

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer service receptionist role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable handling a multi-line phone system in a high-volume setting
• Proficiency with veterinary practice management software (we use EzyVet) is a plus. Basic computer skills including scheduling, data entry, and electronic records
• Ability to remain calm and compassionate in emotionally sensitive situations

• Some evening and Saturday hours are a must for all staff.
