Veterinary Nurse

We are currently looking to fill a full-time veterinary technician position for our privately owned small animal practice. Part-time can be considered for the right candidate. Experience in the veterinary profession is a must. Strong written and verbal skills preferred as well as being a self-motivated, energetic individual.

Our hospital has a fully equipped in house lab and digital radiography. Our doctors perform surgery two days a week therefore surgical prep and monitoring anesthesia would be a part of the job requirements. Additional duties would include but are not limited to, assisting in appointments, collecting and recording animal case histories, filling prescriptions, venipuncture and iv catheter placement, performing diagnostic tests and x-rays, administering medications, injections and treatments as well as educating owners on pet care.

You would be a key member of our team and should be able to effectively manage a variety of situations with a positive attitude while showing respect and courtesy to all clients and employees.
