Practice Manager – Sunset Blvd Animal Hospital

Sunset Blvd Animal Hospital is seeking a hands-on, experienced, and team-oriented Practice Manager to lead our veterinary team and support the daily operations of our hospital.

We’re looking for someone who understands veterinary medicine, can support the technical team, and has the leadership skills to develop employees, maintain efficient clinic operations, and create a positive work environment.

An RVT license is preferred.. We are open to candidates with strong veterinary technical experience and proven management or supervisory skills who are ready to take the next step in their careers.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and support veterinary assistants, technicians, and client service team members.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development.
• Provide feedback, address performance concerns, and support employee relations.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive clinic culture.
• Help ensure staff follow established protocols and maintain high standards of patient care.

Hospital Operations

• Oversee daily clinic operations and workflow to support an efficient, well-organized hospital.
• Partner with veterinarians and team members to identify operational needs and resolve challenges.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and coverage to meet the needs of the practice.
• Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment.
• Support compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and veterinary protocols.

Client Experience & Patient Care

• Help maintain a high standard of patient care and client service.
• Support the team in managing client concerns and resolving issues professionally.
• Use your veterinary technical knowledge to understand clinical workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work alongside the team when needed to keep the hospital running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous management, supervisory, or team leadership experience; veterinary practice management experience is a plus.
• Strong veterinary technical knowledge and an understanding of clinical workflows.
• RVT license preferred, but not required.
• Experience training, coaching, and holding employees accountable.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced veterinary environment.
• A collaborative, hands-on leadership style with a focus on supporting the team.

We are open to candidates who have built strong technical skills in veterinary medicine and developed leadership experience, even if they are not currently licensed as an RVT.

Compensation & Opportunity

• Annual salary: $72,000
