Veterinary Receptionist

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phones and assist clients with questions and scheduling
• Schedule appointments and manage the daily appointment flow
• Check clients in and out
• Maintain accurate client and patient records
• Process payments and handle invoices
• Communicate with veterinary staff regarding client and patient needs
• Prepare and organize medical records and charts
• Assist with prescription and food orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Provide excellent customer service to our clients and their pets
• Assist the veterinary team with other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary reception or veterinary experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Comfortable working with dogs, cats, and other animals
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Computer skills and experience with veterinary software are a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
