Overview

We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Old Towne Veterinary Clinic. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and their beloved pets. Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor

• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with client inquiries

• Maintain accurate client records and update information as necessary

• Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping

• Coordinate the flow of clients and patients in the reception area to ensure efficient operations

• Provide general information about veterinary services, products, and procedures

• Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and managing invoices

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred

• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively

• Proficient computer skills, including experience with veterinary software systems

• Ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism

• Flexibility to work evenings as needed
