Overview:
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, providing outstanding customer service and administrative support to our veterinary team. Your dedication to animal welfare and your ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment will be essential in this role.

Duties:

• Greet clients with a friendly and welcoming demeanor and assist them with check-ins, appointments, and inquiries
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, surgeries, and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and medical histories
• Process payments, invoices, and insurance claims
• Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Keep reception area clean and organized

Skills:

• Proficiency in veterinary terminology
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of animal anatomy and medical procedures
• Experience with laboratory procedures is a plus

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Passion for working in the animal care industry
• Customer service-oriented mindset
• Capability to lift up to 50lbs
