Veterinary Receptionist

University Veterinary Hospital has an opening for a full time veterinary receptionist. University Veterinary Hospital is proud to provide dogs, cats, and their people with care and service from the heart. We’ve been compassionately serving the Wasatch front in Salt Lake City's welcoming and wonderful 9th and 9th neighborhood since 1992.

We believe talented, well skilled, receptionists are critical to our hospital's success. Candidates must be warm and friendly, possess advanced customer service skills, excellent written and verbal communication, have basic computer skills and must be interested in working in a team environment.

Candidates should be detail oriented and thrive in a fast paced environment, have a desire to help others, be a problem solver, be empathetic and caring.

Responsibilities

• Answering inbound calls, setting appointments and answering general client questions
• Welcoming clients into the clinic and getting them checked in for treatment
• Working in a team environment where you interact with veterinarians and veterinary technicians on a regular basis to satisfy client needs
• Generating invoices, receiving and posting payments
• Reviewing clinic emails, sending and receiving faxes
• Assisting with maintaining a clean and tidy hospital
• Assisting with administrative needs of the hospital
• Must be okay cleaning up animal urine and stool

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous client service experience
• Dependable

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 36.0 per week

Experience:
