Veterinary Receptionist

Stable Close Veterinary Clinic is a small, family-owned independent veterinary practice based in Winchester, dedicated to providing compassionate care for small animals and excellent service for their owners.

We are looking for a friendly, organised and caring Veterinary Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis mainly to cover afternoon/evening shifts.

About the Role

• Around 20 - 25 hours per week, including a Saturday morning rota
• Afternoon/evening availability 2.00pm - 7.00pm
• Starting salary: £13.50 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Based in Winchester (parking provided)

As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in creating a warm and professional experience for both pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Greeting clients and their pets
• Answering phone calls and booking appointments
• Managing patient records and general administration
• Handling payments and reception duties
• Supporting the veterinary team with day-to-day tasks

What we are looking for

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Calm, compassionate, and professional manner
• Good organisational and computer skills
• Ability to work well within a small team
• Previous reception experience is essential
• Veterinary reception experience is desirable
