Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and efficiently manage check-in and check-out procedures for appointments and procedures
• Schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and coordinate follow-up care using veterinary software systems
• Collect payments, process medical collections, and handle billing accurately in compliance with veterinary administrative support protocols
• Assist with animal restraint and handling during client visits or procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Maintain accurate records of client communications, medical histories, and laboratory results in accordance with veterinary terminology standards

Skills

• Proven experience as a veterinary receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a veterinary clinic setting
• Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, medical-surgical procedures, and companion animal medicine
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients from diverse backgrounds
• Proficiency in veterinary software applications and Microsoft Office Suite for administrative tasks
• Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques; experience with dog handling, animal restraint, and pet care is highly valued
• Experience working with a variety of animals including dogs and cats.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a busy environment
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team dedicated to animal welfare and client satisfaction

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
