Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Veterinary Rehabilitation Technician/Human Physical Therapy with Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) credentials to join our dynamic veterinary team. Duties

• Assist in implementing customized rehabilitation plans for animals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions
• Perform therapeutic modalities such as hydrotherapy, laser therapy, acupuncture, and therapeutic exercises under veterinarian supervision
• Monitor and record patient progress using veterinary software and diagnostic radiology tools
• Handle animal restraint safely during treatments, diagnostics, and procedures ensuring comfort and safety for pets and staff
• Support veterinary critical care activities including vascular access, IV insertion, medication administration, and anesthesia monitoring
• Assist with laboratory work such as phlebotomy, diagnostic testing, and specimen collection to aid in accurate diagnosis
• Operate medical equipment effectively while maintaining aseptic technique during all procedures
• Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding treatment plans, progress updates, and home care instructions

Requirements

• Certification as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) or equivalent veterinary rehabilitation credential is required
• Prior experience working with animals in a veterinary setting or kennel environment is highly preferred
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and emergency medicine practices is essential
• Demonstrated ability to handle dogs and other animals confidently using proper restraint techniques
• Experience with laboratory procedures including phlebotomy and diagnostic radiology is advantageous
• Strong understanding of general anesthesia protocols, critical & intensive care procedures, and medical equipment operation
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative veterinary team

Pay: $25.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
