Veterinary Surgeon

We are looking for an experienced vet with 3/4 years as a minimum,to join our team at a long established independent practice based in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. We are a 100% Small Animal practice, with a super friendly and supportive team of Vets, Nurses and support staff who always make time for tea and cake!

We can offer a full/part time role , 4 day week (ft), 1 in 4 Saturdays and NO OOH, Salary £40-60K DOE, (pro rata PT) . VDS cover.

It's an easy 30 minute drive from Cambridge or Bedford area . There is on-site accommodation available if needed. The practice is a short 5 minute walk from the town centre. On site we have in- house blood machines, digital X-ray machine, ultrasound machine, endoscopes and Orthopaedic equipment.

CPD is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose health issues.
• Perform surgical procedures and administer anesthesia as needed.

Qualifications

• MRCVS registration
• 3/4 years experience
• Strong veterinary experience in clinical settings
• Proficient in laboratory procedures and diagnostics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to animal welfare and ethical practices

Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
