What you will do:

  • Provide compassionate pet care including feeding, cleaning, grooming, and monitoring animal behavior and welfare
  • Support clinical procedures such as IV insertions, catheterizations, medication administration, and record keeping with precision and attention to detail
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment by performing thorough cleaning of kennels, treatment areas, and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and PPE use
  • Restrain animals safely during procedures using proper animal husbandry techniques while ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Educate pet owners on animal health, behavior, post-operative care, and medication instructions to promote ongoing wellness

What you bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent phone and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry
  • Customer service experience, ideally in a veterinary or medical setting
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet for a full shift
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and behavior to support clinical tasks effectively
  • Experience with dog handling, animal restraint techniques, and animal husbandry practices across various species including equine experience is highly desirable
  • Strong client communication skills to provide clear information about pet care plans and foster positive relationships with pet owners
  • Commitment to animal welfare through attentive care and adherence to safety protocols using PPE at all times
