Magnolia Animal Clinic is looking for a Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our team!

We are a busy, growing three-doctor veterinary clinic with a great group of people who enjoy working together. We like to laugh, joke, listen to Disney music, and have fun—but we also know how to roll up our sleeves, get a little dirty, and get the job done.

We're looking for someone who fits that same mindset.

The right person will be dependable, hardworking, friendly, willing to learn, and ready to be part of a team. Veterinary experience is a plus, but we're also willing to train someone who has the right attitude and a genuine desire to learn and grow in veterinary medicine.

What You'll Do

Our Veterinary Technician Assistants work alongside our technicians and doctors and are an important part of our medical team. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care and restraint, laboratory work, instrument cleaning and sterilization, stocking and maintaining treatment areas, and supporting the veterinary team throughout the day.

General cleanliness and organization of the clinic is also an important part of this position. You'll help keep patient areas, treatment areas, cages and runs clean and ready for use, assist with laundry, restock supplies, and help make sure our hospital stays clean and organized throughout the day.

As you learn and grow, you'll have opportunities to develop additional hands-on veterinary skills through our structured training program.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with both pets and people, communicates well, works hard, takes pride in what they do, and isn't afraid to jump in when something needs to be done.

Experience in veterinary medicine is welcomed, but we're just as interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic, and desire to learn.

And a good sense of humor definitely helps.

Schedule, Pay & Benefits

Pay: $10.00–$12.00 per hour, depending on experience

Full-time or part-time positions available.

Our clinic is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM.

NO WEEKENDS!
