Critical Care Veterinary Technician – Swing Shift Up to $40.00/hour (DOE) + $5.50/hour Shift Differential (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) + Sign-On Bonus (RVT: $7,000 | Senior Veterinary Assistant: $5,000)

As a member of our Critical Care Unit, you'll work with advanced medical technology, experienced specialists, and a team dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes for patients and their families.

In Your Day-to-Day, You Will

• Triage incoming patients and assist veterinarians with patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Provide advanced monitoring and nursing care for hospitalized critical care patients.
• Induce, monitor, and recover patients undergoing anesthesia.
• Perform in-house laboratory testing and prepare samples for outside laboratories.
• Collaborate with veterinarians on treatment plans and communicate patient updates to clients.
• Participate in daily patient rounds to ensure continuity of care across shifts.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.

What You Bring

• Registered Veterinary Technician: Current California RVT license required.
• Senior Veterinary Assistant: Minimum of three years of hands-on clinical experience in a veterinary hospital.
• Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and compassionate in a fast-paced critical care environment.
• Commitment to teamwork, continuous learning, and exceptional patient and client care.
