Veterinary Technician

Ashley Creek Animal Clinic is looking for an experienced veterinary technician who brings more than technical skills—we’re looking for the right teammate.

We’re looking for a well-rounded technician who is comfortable wearing different hats throughout the day. You may be monitoring anesthesia in surgery one day, running treatment, helping in an exam room, drawing blood, taking radiographs, or jumping in to help a coworker the next. Surgery and anesthesia experience is especially valuable, but flexibility and teamwork are essential.

We want someone who is positive, proactive, dependable, supportive, and genuinely enjoys being part of a team. Experience matters, but attitude matters just as much.

What You'll Do

• Assist with surgery and anesthesia, including patient preparation, IV catheter placement, induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Monitor hospitalized and recovering patients and provide high-quality nursing care
• Work confidently in treatment performing technician-level procedures and supporting hospitalized patients
• Assist veterinarians in exam rooms as needed
• Perform venipuncture, radiographs, laboratory testing, catheter placement, and other technician-level procedures
• Assist with dentistry and other procedures
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
• Communicate professionally with clients during admissions, discharges, and routine patient care
• Help keep the hospital organized, efficient, and running smoothly
• Step in to support your coworkers wherever needed

Ashley Creek Animal Clinic has been caring for pets in the Flathead Valley for over 50 years.

In 2025, we moved into our newly renovated 7,000-square-foot hospital, designed with both patient care and team efficiency in mind. Our modern facility gives our team the space, equipment, and workflow to practice high-quality medicine without feeling cramped or constantly working around outdated infrastructure.

Our hospital includes dedicated surgery and dental suites, digital dental radiography, a fully equipped in-house laboratory, dedicated treatment and surgery prep areas, ICU/oxygen capabilities, modern anesthesia and monitoring equipment, comfortable glass-fronted kennels, and a cat-only exam room. We have invested heavily in creating a hospital where our technicians have the tools and resources they need to do their jobs well.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
