Veterinary Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during consultations, examinations, and procedures.
• Safely handle and restrain animals during examination and treatment.
• Assist with basic laboratory procedures and sample collection.
• Prepare animals, equipment, and supplies for medical procedures.
• Monitor animals before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as instructed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain and update animal medical records.
• Assist in monitoring the condition and recovery of hospitalized animals.
• Ensure that medical equipment and treatment areas are clean and properly maintained.
• Assist with inventory and monitoring of veterinary medicines and supplies.
• Communicate with pet owners regarding basic instructions provided by the veterinarian.
• Follow proper safety, sanitation, and animal-care procedures.
• Perform other veterinary clinic-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medicine.
• Veterinary Technician experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic animal care, handling, and veterinary procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and comfortable working with animals.
• Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Willing to work in a veterinary clinic and handle different types of animals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
